The Fortunes Revealed

Somehow February has come and gone already, but much of my time pertaining to Monthly Dragon Oracle was well spent. I challenged myself to interact with the game daily, and it never became a chore. Often those few minutes ended up being a bright spot in my day. I set out to make something specifically to make myself laugh (and a handful of my friends too) and I'm glad that I hit that mark. 

Throughout February I tried to toy around with ideas for March. Although I did get distracted by a new and very popular game release, but I did end up having enough to piece together something fun for this month. I know my weakness is in the pixel art, and that was the biggest drawback I felt in using MDO every day. There needs to be variety and I aim to keep improving that. 

Looking towards April, I have a handful of ideas that I hope to experiment with to make a visually better game. Additionally I think what I have in mind will help the randomizer work better. I noticed in my gameplays and several of my friends that the math favors certain numbers. I'll know for certain if that's true over the course of this month. March's edition is working off of a copy paste of February's mapping and math.
